John Turenne is internationally recognized for his innovative leadership approach in an extensive senior management and culinary career spanning over 25 years in the food industry:

Consultant
Facilitates and manages local and sustainable dining programs for many institutional food service programs.

Speaker and Facilitator
Educates diverse audiences including sustainable agriculture organizations, food policy groups and food service organizations.

Director/Executive Chef, Yale Sustainable Dining
Designed, developed, and implemented the internationally-recognized Yale Sustainable Food Project by challenging a conventional food service system with a back-to-basics, nurturing approach that brought the focus back to where it belongs - the food!

General Manager, Large Institutional Food Service Operations, Aramark
Created and partnered in student, vendor and client programming while managing food operations at several large universities.

Management Director
Trained staff and management teams in strategic business planning to execute innovative programs such as Cooking 101 (a cooking class for graduating students) and Sustainable Food Training.
